Mel and Lynn Tanioka embarked on their business journey in 1978 in hopes to service the Leeward side of Oahu with fresh local seafood. Tanioka's specializes in "local style" poke and seafood by using fresh island-caught fish and quality ingredients. Their menu is a fusion of many cultural flavors - Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Chinese, Hawaiian and American - making it a local and international favorite.
